We have three weddings this summer. Â Typically I make quilts as wedding presents. Â This time around I didn’t think I would have time to make any but ended up whipping up two quilts. Â Both are identical…I showed the first one already via Instagram (are you following us on Instagram?-follow Kelli here–follow me here).
Here is the second one on the frame…. Â The only real difference is one had a polka dot backing and one a stripe backing.
They are both twin sized.
I got it off the frame…now if I could just sneak in some time to bind it. Â I already have the binding prepped so that’s a start.
All in all I am really happy with the quilts. Â I hope the recipients are too.
Love the quilt! Looks like a quick pattern to make.
I love this quilt. I am starting the process of my first quilt. It will be for my toddler son’s first “big boy” twin bed. This quilt is exactly the pattern that I was looking for. Did you use a published pattern or come up with it on your own? If you don’t mind, I’m wondering what the finished dimensions are? What size were your finished three rail squares? Also, can you tell me approximately how much fabric I might need? I appreciate your expert help! I’m hoping this isn’t biting off more than I can chew, but wanted him to have something special to mark this milestone.
