I love it when I discover something new…my latest, Paypal Shipping Center. Â Living in a rural area it’s hard to use any other shipping service except the USPS. Â UPS and Fed Ex are at least a half hour away…so USPS it is. Â Only problem with that, they are open limited hours and I hate leaving the house. Â Just to run to town and ship one package breaks up my day and my momentum on what I am working on. Â I lamented about this to our daughter Kayla and she suggested on line USPS. Â We looked into that and they don’t have media mail rate (which is a cheaper way to ship books) but I did find out that Paypal Shipping Center does.
One of the things I needed to make this all happen was a postal scale. Â I ended up with this one off of Amazon,ZIEIS | 15 Lb. Capacity | Digital Postal Scale | ZIEIS BigTop 11.5″ x 9.3″ Dura Platform | Z-SEAL | 110V Adapter | 0.1 Ounce Accuracy.
Now all I have to do is go to Paypal Shipping, sign in, enter the information, weigh my box, print the label and package it all up. Â The money for the postage comes out of my Paypal account. Â All I have to do is put the package in the mailbox and the mailman can pick it up. Â Easy-peasy!
I am a happy girl. Â All in all, I think this is a wonderful investment…saves gas..saves time..saves the headache of working around the post office hours. Â I love it.
That’s really great! Sweet of your daughter for turning you on to Paypal Shipping. I know several people that use it.
Well done. Never too old to learn something new
Thanks, Jo! I love how much I learn from your website… shipping, quilting, drawing in Word, website management, more quilting, free patterns, recipes, and house progress!
Thanks for the info Jo! Do you use the multi order shipping to do this or do you create a invoice first?
I’m glad you got the media mail thing figured out! So it’s within Paypal?
