For the last two months, I have been scrambling and working on quilting projects. I have had a little free time sewing with Kelli but almost all of my sewing time has been for projects I can’t share yet. As much as I love sewing, sewing with deadlines isn’t quite as fun. Today I finally put a quilt on the quilting machine that I can share….
This quilt top has been done for awhile…it’s just been waiting for me to have a little time. I am hoping to have the binding on it tonight so I can report the fabric usage in my Stash Report. I am planning on a couple sewing days for me and my projects…then it’s back to sewing with deadlines…two more quilts worth of deadline sewing. I am determined to have them done before November 18th. That’s when Bonnie Hunter’s new mystery quilt will start….I can’t wait. Here’s my last year mystery quilt…and the one for the year before. I love them both. I wouldn’t miss a Bonnie Hunter Mystery quilt.
Today I am hooking up with Confessions of a Fabric Addict. I am hooking up with Crazy Mom Quilts too. This isn’t quite a finish…but it’s off the machine, the binding is cut and it will be finished today. Hop on over see what others have accomplished.
Deadlines can be tricky yes,but I think when you finish those kinds you are the most proud of them! That is how I feel anyhow;)
The blue and gold is very nice together. Whoop, whoop!
Your quilt is fabulous!
And how awesome to have a long arm. :o)
What a talented lady you are !!
Have a nice weekend.
Sincerely, Trish
I can’t wait for Bonnie’s new mystery either. Definitely a Whoop, Whoop!
What’cha going to do on that quilt? I’m always interested to know the process of deciding on a quilting design. Whoop Whoop!
I could see where the deadline takes some of the fun out of it. I do enjoy your projects!
Close enough to a finish for me! It’s awfully pretty all stretched out on your frame!! Whoop whoop!!
Great looking quilt! I admire the teal and cheddar colorway, I would never have thought to use those in tandem with each other.
