WOW is all I can say. Â I never imagined when I started the blog that I would have people far and near sending me notes, cards and treasures. Â It always amazes me!!
Over the last few weeks here is some of the things that have come. Â Here are a few of the cards. Â A couple of them got put in my card saving basket already…A note along with a donation to the charity quilts project. Â Hopefully soon I can get myself standing by the machine again.
Goodies for my childcare kiddos….Laurie from Munroe Falls, OH sent “My Little Pony” goodies for the kids. Â There were combs, brushes and even some baby ponies. Â Those have been coveted. Â I think now we have enough of everything so there shouldn’t be any fighting…
Check out this treasure trove.Melissa from Ponte Verda Beach, FL went through the sticker box and sent lots and lots. Â The kids have been loving them. Â Typically I’ll tell them only 10 stickers for your project. Â Now I’ve let them take what they want. Â Oh my they’ve been having LOTS of fun. Â Also in the mix was a cute, cute book and fireman fabric for me!! Â Aw..we all love it.
I don’t think I mentioned that I got a wonderful flannel quilt top from LaNan E. Â It’s very nice but I’m not showing it to you now…you’ll have to wait until I’m quilting it.
I am SO VERY blessed. Â I can’t listen to the news anymore. Â There is so much death, unrest, bickering and sad news. Â It’s good to know that there are still good people who “Pass it on”. Â I so blessed to be one of the people goodness is passed on to. Â THANKS everyone!!
Sounds like you’re just reaping what you and your good family sows.
I’m excited to c it after you quilt the flannel quilt. I admire all that you do from your family, childcare and your amazing quilts!
It is so much fun to hunt for treasures at the GW outlet store. When I find things that someone will appreciate it makes me happy. If you are interested, I recently “rescued” a set of fisher price animals from the a to z learning set. They each have a letter on them that corresponds to their name (like r for rhino). They are really cute (and I wanted the flamingo!) If your kiddos would like them, I will pop them in the mail. If not, I will find them another home on freecycle. :)
Aw…they sound like fun. We’ve been working on learning letters. Here’s my address
