Must Sees in Blog Land

I love hopping around, seeing new blogs, finding new linky parties and meeting new friends in blog land.  Don’t you?  Even if I am really busy, here are some of my must sees….

These are the blogs I check every day…sometimes twice a day because they always have something new posted.  I love bloggers that post every day…

I always check up on Bonnie over at Quiltville’s Quips and Snips.  I like to see where she’s traveling, if she found a new Kindle book or what she’s sewing.
I always check on Judy over at Patchwork Times.  Monday’s are my favorite so I can check out her design wall linky party…then I can see what everyone is up to.  Of course I want to check if Vince has a green shirt for the day and how Judy’s new sewing area is progressing.
I always check up on Michelle at Michelle’s Romantic Tangle.  Michelle and I have gotten to be blogging buddies and I love to see what she’s working on, what she’s doing with her Kindle, and what new goodies she’s designing.

These I check really often because they are family and I like to know what they are up to…
Kayla K’s Thrifty Ways… (my daughter)
586 Square Feet….(my son’s girl)

I check up on one of my real life neighbor (well 7 miles away neighbor) , Insulated Overall.  This is written by Bonnie a gal whose son is good friends with our youngest daughter.   They live in the area.  Bonnie post every day too so it’s fun to see what she’s up to and what the dog most recently chewed….Bonnie has great recipes too. The breakfast bake and the cheese cake are to die for.

There are some linky parties that I love to hit….
Confessions of a Fabric Addict on Fridays..I love checking out the quilty goodies. Can I get a WHOOP!!
Crazy Mom Quilts on Fridays..there are tons of finished quilts to celebrate.
Barn Hop on’s my go to farm life, homestead, chicken blog fix all wrapped up in one.
Colorado Lady’s Vintage Thursdays…I love seeing old items that are treasures.

I hop over to
Moda Bake Shop to see what other’s are designing and to drool over new fabric.
Quilt Hollow…Mary’s the MASTER machine quilter.  I love seeing what she’s up to.
Julie K Quilts…I always love Julie’s quilts.   She often makes quilts I am making or quilts that are on my list.

There are other places I go as time can see them on my blog roll…but those are my favorites.  Are there great blogs and linky parties that I’m missing?  Feel free to link your blog or some of your favorite blogs here in the linky.  It would be so much fun to see what you are writing or where you are visiting.  Stop back here tomorrow….I’m starting a new linky party called “Waste Not Wednesdays” it’s going to be a great place for you to share your ideas to prevent waste, share repurposing ideas, share time, money or energy saving ideas…check back, I hope it becomes one of your favorite linky parties.

Today I am linking up with What Works for me Wednesdays…it’s another great linky party.

  1. I was surprised to see that you and I follow about 80% of the same blogs you mentioned in the post! :-) I also follow a variety of blogs that interests me such as photography, crafting (including quilting), finances, and more…

  2. I added One Piece at a Time, Erin Russek’s blog. She is a great appliqué designer and gives many of her patterns away free as block of the month patterns as well as posting many helpful tutorials on appliqué techniques. I also second Sarah’s mention of Exuberant Color… She has some amazing quilts in non traditional fabrics, lots of Fasset and others.

  3. Oh. Jo…thanks for mentioning me! I am so proud you find VTT a fun event. You are such an inspiration and well…some of these blogs you mentioned I follow too and I consider them the “big guns”!! So proud to even be mentioned!!

You always have such inspiration on so many levels!! I am so proud to have found you!

  4. Oh, thank you for listing me as one of your favorites! I have to say your blog is one of my favorites, too! And it’s always a a pleasure to see you on Whoop Whoop Fridays!!
