Did you see the new issue of American Patchwork and Quilting??
See that cover quilt? It’s ours.
It’s hard for us to believe it because we sent it off to them about this time last year….Yep. The quilt has been gone for about a year.
This designs came about after sitting on the computer and playing with nine patches.
Isn’t it fun?
The gals over at Forest Mills Quilt Shop are offering a kit for the quilt. Can you believe that the kit is only $140 and quilt is 80″ x 98″? That is an amazing deal!
I’ll tell you more about the quilt and how it came to be once we get it back from the publishers.
We did see an copy of the issue…there are lots of great projects besides our quilt. Hit your news stand and check it out!

OMG – I have seen so many advertise their quilt inside this issue, but it was the cover quilt that I really loved. AND it’s yours!! I am going out tomorrow to pick up my sewing machine from the repair center that happens to be next to a JoAnns – hoping they have this issue as I just love this quilt.
Love this!!! Thinking of doing this in reds & brown. Ooooooh the color combinations are endless. Thank you for such beautiful inspiration.
Beautiful quilt indeed! And my favorite block – Nine patches! Doesn’t get any better than that!
Congratulations, Jo and Kelli! I will pick up this issue the next time I’m in town – great quilt!

Jo Another beautiful quilt from a local talent. Who would of thought to use orange as the main color. Nice job Jo. You do inspire many gals.
Jo and Kelli…I love this quilt! After I finish up the retreat quilts, I’m making this one for sure. Congratulations on being on the cover again. Keep up the good work.

Love your quilt, it kind of reminds me of my favorite Irish Chain, but not quite. I love the autumn colors even though I am not quite ready for fall yet.
