Make a “Joy” Banner with your Accuquilt Go!

If you are new to the blog, welcome.  We typically put up new blog post twice daily so there is always something new and fresh here.  We host lots of giveaways too.  Click HERE and see what’s new today…

Here is today’s quick and easy Go! project.  This little banner was made with my diamond die, and the new equilateral triangle die.  I stitched mine using Steam a Seam 2, my sewing machine and my new favorite wool Auriful thread.

Here is a little video link to show you how to make it.

These can be made to say anything….Happy Birthday, Celebrate, Believe….

Here’s a couple quick pictures to show you a few things the video may have left out.

I free handed the letters on the banner using a disappearing marker.

All of the stitching was done with my sewing machine using the wool Auriful thread.  Make sure the diamond is open when stitching the letter.

The blanket stitching is done when the diamond is folded in half.  The blanket stitching makes a tube for the cording to go through.

These were very quick and would make a great gift.  It would be cute to make a banner with a child’s name and hang it on their bedroom door…the possibilities are endless.
