I love getting notes and messages from readers…this one came from Charisma. She said that she was a long arm quilter and had quilted a quilt made with with one of my Moda Bake Shop designs “Chain of Faith” for a customer, Tisha of Teal Treasures. She liked the quilt so much that she decided to make one for herself. She sent a photo….
Isn’t it gorgeous?!?! I love the colors! Charisma is an amazing long armer…check out the work.
The designs she chose fit the quilt perfectly. Charisma’s site is filled with more detailed pictures. You are going to want to go over and check them out. Her site is filled with lots of other quilts that she has machine quilted. Oh, they are beauties!
I just love seeing what others have done with the patterns that I put together. It seems like this “Chain of Faith pattern has been the most popular Moda Bake Shop quilt that I’ve done…here’s Tisha’s version…here’s Vic’s version. It’s one of those simple-beauty things I think. It’s great for a beginner or for someone who has been sewing for awhile…as long as you can sew a good 1/4″ seam it’s very do-able.
Here’s my original quilt….It you’re looking here’s a link to the pattern.
Have any of you sewn a quilt that came from one of my designs? Drop me an email and picture at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will feature your quilt.

This is gorgeous, as is your original. But frankly, nothing will ever beat Cheddar and Blue, at least for me!
