Mail Box Full of Charity Quilt Tops

About two weeks ago I said I was down on charity quilt tops with only a few more to quilt.  Well….Sharon from Arkansas and Cindy from Ohio decided to change that in a hurry.

Cindy sent FOUR-and some money to help cover some of the expenses I encounter for batting and for postage to get the quilts where they need to go.

..and Sharon sent FIVE!!

WOW…I am back in business now for sure.

Thanks so much ladies.  Thanks for keeping this quilt donation project afloat.  Without you, I couldn’t do this.

Next up on my list is get these tops all measured and backings found for them.  The gals at Forest Mills Quilt Shop were so nice and donated some clearance fabric for us to use for backings.  The gals there are so sweet and this just goes to prove it!!

I am hoping that this week I can get my long arm in for a cleaning.  I was suppose to do it last week but the Lucy at O2B Quilting who does it for me got called away for jury duty.

I can’t wait to get started on these beautiful quilt tops.

  1. Glad to see that you received my box of tops. So happy to be able to send them to you. And just a little correction. I am Sharon in Arkansas not Arizona!

  2. I don’t know how you get all that done! I just finished working on one for a friend and I could only find time for it about 1/2 hr a day! Retirement it too busy!
