Kelli was home Saturday and shared her latest quilt top with me.  It’s State Fair designed by Carrie Nelson of Miss Rosie’s Quilt Company.
She made hers with Moda’s fabric line Make Life.  It turned out so cute.  I can easily see a baby boy or a baby girl with the quilt.
That’s Kelli’s beagle PuppyCat (yes the dog’s name is Puppycat). Â We are trying to teach her to pose like Gracie does….
She started to get the hang of it then Gracie had to try to steal the lime light…oh those beagles….Gotta love them both! Â Kelli was sewing on another project while she was here….wait until you see it!! Â It’s a black white quilt…but that’s all I’m saying for now.
I made the same pattern some time ago. Â Here’s a link to see mine. Â Isn’t it amazing how different the color are. Â It ends up not even looking like the same quilt.
I love the State Fair design. My dd told me she is expecting again and this seems like the perfect design for a new quilt, boy or girl! Thanks for sharing! Kelli – great job! You have a great teacher in mom! :-)
I do love this design! The beagles are always a nice tought (grin).
I love it! (and yours, too in the very different color scheme, but wonderful as well!) I think that pattern must go on my TO DO list !
I enjoyed seeing both of your State Fair Schnibbles! Although I’ve done many bigger and more complicated quilts, this pattern remains one of my favorites. Your color selections are so different, but both lovely!
