Kelli was home over the weekend to quilt one of her quilts….
I have loved this quilt. It’s made with Moda’s fabric line Beach House. The backing she got as a clearance fabric for super cheap…$2 a yard! It was JUST wide enough so she had to be careful when she was quilting.
The pattern is Feed Sacks from Kim Brackett’s book Scrap-Basket Surprises. The quilt was made with jelly rolls. Kim has a new book out now too, Scrap Basket Sensations….more jelly roll or 2.5″ strip quilts. I love Kelli’s colors. I like the brown in the centers verses the white like the original pattern.
Kelli has another quilt top finished so she’ll be home in a week or two. I can’t wait to take some pictures and show you that one…
I love it…..I agree the brown centers really make the quilt. It looks beautiful.
very nice job on the quilt
It’s a beauty and Jo…the new book is even better than the first!!
Hey Jo, just wanted you to know I received my gift package. LOVE it.
Thanks again
