Kelli’s Cross Stitch Update

Kelli was at my house over Memorial Day weekend. She brought her cross stitching with her.

Kelli is doing better at stitching Market releases than I am. Here is Olive from the Animal Cracker series by Stacy Nash.

I told you in a different blog post that she was planning on stitching the momma goose along with three babies. Here is the momma…

Here are two of the babies. She plans to stitch the bows on the little geese in her kids’ favorite colors.

SO CUTE!! I want to stitch this once Kelli is done.

This is Remember Me by Teresa Kogut.

I’m pretty sure she is stitching this on Fox and Rabbit’s Ballet Slipper. I love this and would like to stitch it.

Her plan is to get this one finished. She is SO CLOSE. I think some personalization and a few do-dads.

Kelli had a small project in the mix. It is Summer Alphabet Garden by Jeannette Douglas. I love this and would like to stitch it.

From Long Dog Samplers, this is Act of God. If you look, you can see that she is working her way up from the lower right corner. If you look at the pattern, you can see a little arrow at the top of the picture on the right. That is how far she is from the top.

Kelli highly recommends using a magnet board like this for stitching projects full of motifs that are like this or Quaker-style. You can find the magnet board HERE. They have much fancier ones now. You can check them out HERE.

Kelli is also working on Consider the Lillies by Heart String Samplery.

She is trying to get the entire bottom finished. If you remember, I am stitching this too, but I started at the top.

At market, Beth Twist of Heartstring Samplery came out with a companion piece. Kelli started it too. She made it all the way around the border.

…and she stitched the cutest little frog in the corner along with one of the border flowers. So cute!!

I always love the projects that Kelli stitches on, and the latest batch is no different. I love them all.

I had a blog reader ask a question about A Quaker Christmas that Kelli was working on.

Kelli said it was Vintage Country Mocha in 40 count along with either DMC 935 or 936- she couldn’t remember.

That’s what Kelli has been stitching on lately. Both of us are a little lacking on stitching time.

  3. Just wondering if you changed the day of the week when you post your “What I’m Working On”? It used to be the Monday morning post. Maybe I missed some. Not complaining, just concerned. Hope you are doing well.
