Hey all, hey…it’s that time again, time for the Quilt Square Quilt Along Parade. I am splitting this up into two post this month and see if that works better for some readers. Several people still have dial up internet and the overload of pictures is hard for them. I’m putting the new block reveal and the prizes in one post and the parade in this post. If for some reason you didn’t get your block in, send it quick to rogjok@iowatelecom.net.
This month we were all working on the Corn and Beans Block…you can see my block here..onto your blocks!!
Here’s Dee Dee’s. I love the yellow and green color just like real corn and beans.
Here’s Laura Prettyman’s block. I am such a scrappy girl and I love seeing the blocks more planned.
Up next is Barb K’s block. Don’t blue and yellow play nice together?
Nancy E made a great block…all finished and ready to display.
Next up is Judy’s block. I love the colors. A whole quilt of this would be stunning.
Sharyn who showed the puppy picture last month was busy and made TWO blocks. Way to go girl! She’s also looking for puppy advice on how to get them to quit chewing….any suggestions?
Next up is a patriotic version from Nancy in PA. Nancy opted to draft a paper pieced block….making piecing easier for her.
Cheryl added some button accents to her finished block. Don’t you love the quilting too?
Laura Peterson sent in this block. Laura uses Bonnie Hunter’s Scrap Users System and credits is for making her block making go much faster….I agree.
The Kansas girls were together to sew-but minus one. Apparently Sarah want to go on vacation instead of quilt!! Here’s Brenda’s block…
Here’s my friend Debbie B’s block. Didn’t she do a great job!!
Here’s Jan’s block…The greens are pretty.
This one is Vickie’s block…love the colors!
Stop by tomorrow and we’ll pick the winners of the great prizes donated by Country Threads, Ackfeld Manufacturing and Martingale and Company.
I turned the units in mine to have symetry with the blues, you can delete it if it is not right for you. Hugs.
Re puppy chewing – I’d recommend using Stop N’Grow – you know the stuff that you paint on your nails to make them taste foul and to stop you biting them (we used to call it Bitter Aloes). Not sure what its name would be in the USA but it’s very effective at detering them from chewing and it doesn’t mark things! Good luck!
