It’s the March Parade for the Quilt Square Quilt Along!

Before I show you the photos of the great quilt squares, I want to thank all of you for being patient with me and waiting the extra couple days.  If you want to know what the April block is, check this post.

Let the parade begin…..

This is speedy Dale’s block.  Can you believe she had her block in and to me on March 5th!!  Speedy is right, huh!!

Here is Janelle’s block…It’s already up and decorating her little nook.

Next up is Laura…That yellow really gives it a spring like pop!

Jan’s block is next….I never think to make anything with my purple fabric.  I have some I just  never use it.  Jan’s block sure is inspiring.

This pretty mix of blues is from Barb K.

Brenda and her quilting buddies Nan and Sarah got together and were sewing again.  Aren’t all the blocks great?  I’m not sure whose block is whose. (If you want me to label them drop me a note girls.)

What pretty florals!!

I love the stripes on this one….

What a cute idea to fussy cut some of the star centers.  Do you see the chicken?

Here’s one from my buddy Debbie.  What a beautiful balance of color!

Here’s one from Nancy…I love the pink and blue.

Nancy B is busy playing catch up…here’s her February block.

Johanna’s block is next…Check out the great quilting!!  Johanna did amazing quilting on this one!

Here’s Dee’s block.  I LOVE this color combo.  I vividly remember my mom telling me not to wear red and purple together…I am sorry to say that is not true for a quilt.  This looks GREAT!

Here’s DebG’s patriotic version…don’t star patterns just beg from a patriotic version?  I love the quilting.

I don’t have the owner’s name for this entry.  All I have is Goody….and this block is a good-y.  The vibrant colors are great.

I love pink and brown together and Vickie’s block does it wonderfully…and strips too…my version of perfect!

Nancy in PA is up next with her version.  I always use a scrappy background.  I like it with just white…I may have to try that!

This scrappy beauty is from Maxine.  I love the center block!

Judy is another gal playing catch up.  If you are thinking you’d like to try to catch up, trust me, there is plenty of time.  Here’s her February block…

and here’s her March block.  After seeing them, I am guessing they are going to be put in a brown and pink sampler quilt…am I right?

Last up is Karen….isn’t this springy and bright?

Bloggers, please link back to my site so your readers can see all fun and be inspired to join us!!

So are you wondering what you could win this month….

Country Threads is donating a copy of their book, “Back to Charm School”.

Sewline is donating one of their great glue pens.  I used this to tack the wool applique pieces down when I did the April applique block it worked WONDERFULLY!!  I am teaming that up with a thread sampler pack from Aurifil.

Last up is a wire hanger from Ackfeld Manufacturing.  They are the GREAT company who make those quilt square hangers we all love.

If for some reason you sent me a photo, and I didn’t include it, send it again.  I have no way of checking my email when I am gone so much of today was spent sorting and organizing email.  I could easily have missed your photo…and I’ll admit, I’m just not terribly organized.  Just drop me a note at rogjok@iowatelecom.net.  I’ll add the photo to the line up.  I’ll pick the winners Friday afternoon.  Thanks so much for playing along.  You all truly make this fun!!
