There are SO many things going on in Blogland today….it’s the wrap up for a Year of Schnibbles, a quilt of mine is being featured on another blog, Quilt Story and it’s the kick off to the Fall in to Fall Giveaway sponsored by Quilting With Debi and Accuquilt is revealing their new products. So first things first…. The Year of Schnibbles. A group of us got together and made small quilt projects designed by Miss Rosie of Miss Rosie’s Quilt Company. Each month we made a specific quilt using our own color schemes or even modifying the pattern. Here’s a photo of the one I like best….Short Story.
The good news is that our group is continuing on as Le Petite…a year of small projects. You can learn more about it or even join us. Find out more information at A Quilting Life and Pink Pinchusion.
Now for a bit of bragging rights…..Heather and Megan from Quilt Story contacted me and asked if they could feature my “Bubbly” quilt today on their blog….I, of course, said, “SURE!” This little quilt is making a name for itself! Head on over to Quilt Story and check out their blog. It’s super cute.
Then my daughter Kayla did a little feature on me over on her blog, Kayla K’s Thrifty Ways. If you want to know a little about me, head on over there are check out Kayla’s blog.
Did someone say there was a giveaway….oh yes….that was me. There is a giveaway. Debi from Quilt with Debi is hosting the Fall into Fall giveaway. LOTS of blogs are participating so you’ll want to check it out. The last time I checked Debi had over 140 bloggers giving gifts away AND about 7 seven businesses giving gifts away….WOW.
As part of the fun, I will be giving away TWO Trivet kits to make my bottle cap trivet (follow the link to learn more about the trivet kit). Leave a comment here on this entry to win. I’ll pick a winner on the 15th!
More news….Accuquilt is revealing their new products….
I want to see what’s new at Accuquilt…so I’m signing off.
The giveaway is closed.
I remember when the crocheted bottle cap trivets were popular. This is a twist to have them fabric covered.
Great site, I wandered over from Making Learning Fun!

What a unique idea. I have never heard of bottlecap trivets.
The trivet is soooo cute! I have a small one made with bottle caps that I bought at an antique store. It has purple crochet thread and each bottle cap is crocheted around and then put together to look like a bunch of grapes. Your idea is so modern and cute!
