As I sat down to write this post, I had taken pictures of everything and was going to be caught up on mail. Well…The mail carrier came as I was writing and just like that, I had boxes again. It happens and is actually a nice “problem” to have.
This came from Peggy…The envelope held money for the postage fund. That was AWESOME as I took 7 packages to the post office.
Check out these fun prints. I love them!!
Quilt tops were included. Isn’t this pretty??
This next one I liked. I’m guessing it’s from a Sandy Gervais Moda line. I contacted Lori who does charity quilts for Sharehouse and she was willing to finish this one.
This one I packaged up with a couple of other things and sent them to my friend that does Quilts of Valor. I think this might work for that…
These were included in the box. I have an email out to a blog reader to see if she wants to finish them but haven’t heard from her yet. Is there anyone out there that wants to finish these and pass the quilt on to a charity if she doesn’t. I think it’s a version of a coin quilt and all done in American Jane fabrics.
These blocks were interesting. There are 30 of them all of coordinating prints.
I’m guessing the maker didn’t like the corner block color and ripped them out then was tired of the project. All of the blocks need a new corner. Again, I have an email out to someone to see if they want to put this together for a charity…if she says no, I’d love to know the next person that might be interested in it. Most of the work is done.
The infamous Deb from Owatonna Minnesota sent me another box. You might remember she sent me FOUR boxes and I videoed my opening of the boxes. If you missed that you can find that HERE.
Well Deb sent another box.
There were so many goodies.
Check out this embroidery project.
These fun dolls with the porcelain heads I passed on to the Cresco ladies. They had a friend they thought would appreciate them.
Aren’t they cute?
There are the templates for this quilt. If someone is interested in them I’d happily send them your way if you cover postage..and a small donation for the postage fund. Let me know if you’d like them.
I’d offer that same deal for these templates. They are for Lori Holt quilts.
Here was a quilt kit that the Cresco ladies took and said they would finish. I like the colors of this.
This was also a kit that was cut out. The ladies took this too. I’m looking forward to seeing it finished.
I am excited about checking out these books. I love “block” books like the Quilts from the American Homefront book and The Farmer’s Wife Pony Club books. The blocks offer show blocks I hadn’t thought of and are a jumping point for quilt designs.
The next box came from Caryn. She too has sent goodies before.
There were lots of yarn, crocheting and knitting goodies. I set these aside for Kayla.
She likes the “learn to crochet” type books and often passes them on to students.
These are PERFECT!
There were LOTS of magazines that are going to sit by my nightstand and I’m reading them before bed. It’s a habit of mine that I love. You all do a great job keeping me in reading material!! THANKS.
There were so many wonderful goodies in the boxes that came. I love that you all thought of me and Kayla..and the charity quilt project. I really appreciate all the support that comes from all of you. It means so much to me.
