I’ve had so many things come to me via the mail and things that have been delivered to my house. I say this all the time, but it’s so true. Thank you doesn’t seem like nearly enough.
Over the last couple weeks here are a few things that have happened…..
Our vet assistant, who we love, Lori, paid for Ruby’s thyroid meds.
How sweet is that. Lori is super. I’ve known her a long time back to the days before we had beagles, I often picked up medicine for the farm at the vet office and she was always there. She was there when we put our farm dog Pepper to sleep. I can’t say enough good things about her.
Mary Jo from Lacrosse gave me some goodies….Gluten free cook books for Kelli…
and fabric for me. See?All are fun ones that I’m sure to put to use once I get back to a sewing machine.
I’ve missed Mary Jo lately. She works at Gundersen in Lacrosse where Kramer and I doctor. She works in the library and I used to see her often. She works more in a different library so I don’t catch her as often. I did see her when Kramer was in the hospital though. It was good…I’ve missed catching her.
This came from Kathleen in CA. She wrote a cute note and said she was “sending kisses”. How cute.
Postcards are so fun. This one came from Helen…Obviously this one came from Texas…Balch Springs to be exact. Kramer’s brother in law wrote him a story and sent it. All sorts of things have been delivered to my house.
My best friend growing up gave Roger a book to read and wrote a very nice letter catching us up on life. Her and I got to visit when she came to the hospital but Kramer didn’t see her long. This was perfect as Kramer didn’t get in on that conversation and this way he caught up on the happenings too.
These things all came from Mary Lou. Things for the childcare kiddos, thank you cards and other goodies too.
This came from an anonymous quilter in Indiana. A fun fairy door to put on a tree and woven fabric which I started collecting for finishing cross stitch pieces.
The great cross stitch fabric and needle nanny below came from Pat in Florida. I am so excited to get stitching. This fabric is going to be great to work with. I can’t wait to get a couple more things done and then dig in.
These magazines came from the Zooks in Indiana. I loved the note. It says “from our farm family to yours”. Awe…that was sweet.
Kramer has done a lot more reading and magazine looking since he’s had cancer. I don’t always know what to get for him so this was great.
Some of these came with a note….some don’t. Some come with a gift card…some don’t. Some come anonymously. Some are hand delivered. However they come we are so thankful. We love happy mail!! Kramer and I (and the childcare kiddos) love getting the mail. Kramer and I especially love the ones that tell where people are from or a little about themselves. Now days with online bill pay and Kramer being sick, we get LOTS more fun mail than we get bills. That’s just what we need. We feel so supported. The thoughts and prayers of you all really keep us going. We feel like we have our own cheerleading team. Thanks for that!!
Maybe you will get 10 minutes of sewing time tomorrow. Hope that it is a better one for all of your family. Thank you for keeping us updated.
Oh so much fun to help you go on doing what has to be done. So enjoy your posts. I like Kelly and Kalissa’s too.
Great items , gifts, and such sweet notes! You have created quite the group here! That love is contagious, Jo!
Have a good rest of the week & more!!
Hugs and prayers continue! Gloria
Love seeing all these items…. little sparks of light on your journey.
Prayers continue.
