Thank you! I would love to have that. All of your projects from that book are great. I would like to see a tutorial for pincushions.
I would like to see some ideas for quick christmas gifts…I have run out of ideas…love the trivet and guess I need to pull out my book..
I absolutely love your blog and you are doing all the right things.
Gift items for my sewing friends would be a great thing.
Love your clothesline sewing. I’ve been wanting to try this for a long time. I’m leaving on vacation but that’s going on the top of my list when I get home. I’ve always wondered, what angle do you put the strips as you wrap them around – 45 degrees – or do you just kind of see what works as you go?
Thanks for sharing!
What fun! I am only interested in reading about what people are making and learning about quilting…but that’s just me :)
Using scraps in different ways. Your blog is nice, I like it just the way it is.
I LOVE your website just the way it is…such a happy mix of quilting, handwork, recipes and “homey” news….the trivet is fabulous and that rug, oh my….you are a very talented gal…..lucky us !!!
I love this. i am going to have to be on the lookout for the magazine/book. I would love tutorials.
Jo-your blog is wonderful! I read it every day. Your tutorials are great and Gracie is just the sweetest thing. Can’t think of anything that you need to add to your blog.
I just found your blog today and I think it is great. I would like to follow it with my other sites I follow but I don’t see a google “become a follower” sidebar. I am so excited you talked about that book It’s A Wrap because I bought it recently and got sidetracked and haven’t gotten back to it. I definitely will now! Thanks for the opportunity to win your cute trivet. I guess I would like to see more book reviews with projects you have done from it. You do a great job at that.
I am so happy I discovered your blog a while back. I love everything you post! I’d love to see more remodel photos. I love keeping up with the goings on of my friends in Blogland.
I would just love to win the trivet!
Joan
very cool, might even give me motivation now to start one of these…although, do I need another addiction!??
Thanks for the chance! It looks great.
I just found your blog by way of Stash Manicure and really like everything I have seen so far. I am building up a big pile of scraps so maybe you could put on more ideas on how to use them up like you did with the wrapped clotheslines. I am going to try that one real soon but in the meantime would still like to win the Trivet. I will check back often now and put you on my blog roll.
I love reading your blog just as it is. I’m always on the lookout for easy, fast things to use the stash, and these clothesline projects look fun! Thanks for posting, and for the chance to win the gorgeous trivet!
Wow! I never thought of doing this to use up lots of fabric scraps. I am going to try it with some old clothing first; what a good way to recycle. Thanks for the great idea.
I would like to see some tutorials on how to make unusual borders( like checkerboard, sawtooth, ones I call piano keys
Apparently instead of cord laddered tights can be used…I am still collecting tights to try this technique.
Keep up the good work.
This is my first time to your blog. I love it!
Tutoritals are always my favorite!
Thanks!
Oh this is so hard! I love looking at your blog and seeing what your doing and your AMAZING projects!! I think if anything is more tutorials of what your doing. I learn most by tutorials so some of your things would be nice to learn!
I found you via Stash Manicure…your blog is just fine as it is…thanks for the great idea…will keep an eye out for the book at the local library….love tutorials and handy hints…now i have to go and get some clothesline…have some hidding somewhere…LindaB
I pretty much like what you’ve been doing. The mix of quilting with some recipes and life.
Lovely trivet! I hate to say but your blog is already perfect with recipes and my style of quilting. Can it get any better?
Love what you’ve done with your scraps. I am definately going to try this one. I’m visiting from Stash Manicure and love your blog. Thanks
The trivet is adorable! I saw this in action about 2 years ago and loved the idea, but it got put on the back burner since I didn’t buy the book at that time. Now you’ve got me raring to try it again! My MIL loves the idea as well – maybe we’ll start it together, and thanks for the hints of sewing the rope together!
I liked your post for Stash Manicure pretty well. You’re very enthusiastic about this method! And I love the trivet.
Love reading your blog – and the variety of topics/projects you provide. If I was to suggest something, it would be small easy gifts to make for gift giving. Thanks for the opportunity to win!!! Judy C in NC
I love your blog Jo, I follow it everyday. I enjoy the recipes and remodel, all your sewing talents. The whole picture is what I enjoy ’cause we’re all more than just our sewing machine. Now, having said that……Your tutorials are great, Do you have any on your special tricks or tips, for cutting, piecing, like you did with the glue stick for your trivet. Maybe some tips on long-arm quilting. That would be my request. I need to get that book. I see a rug in my future, and maybe some coasters. Thanks for the opporunity to win.
I like tutorials for quilts.
Love, Love, Love it! Can’t wait to pick up the book!
I absolutely love tutorials, whether or not I really get around to making another project.
I just love your blog!! I love to check in and see what wonderful things you are working on.
