Today I made a favorite of my husband’s Hot Fudge Pudding Cake. Â Hubby’s mom used to make it and sadly, I don’t make it as often as I should but when I do, he sure appreciates it.
Here’s the recipe:
1 1/2 Cup flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/8 cup sugar
3 T. cocoa
1 1/2 C. nuts
3/4 C milk
3 T. margarine
1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
6 T. Cocoa
Mix the flour, baking powder salt, 3 T. cocoa, sugar, nuts, milk, and margarine, stirring until blended. Don’t overmix! Pour into a 9×13 inch pan. Mix brown sugar and 6 T. cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour 2 2/3 C. hot tap water over all and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
In the end, it turns out to be pretty good. Because how can you go wrong with chocolate? You can’t!
Looks yummy! Thanks for the pdf!
Yummy.
I love this recipe
We use to get these mixes up in Canada when we visited relatives, then I googled for a recipe and came us with all different flavors – butterscotch, fruit in the bottom along with the fudge flavored recipes. It’s a quick easy dessert. Thanks, from northern Iowa.
I make this a lot for my boys! Great, easy recipe.
OMG! I have been looking for this recipe for 3 years now! My mom used to make these when I was a kid. Thank you for posting this recipe!
