HELP…I need more fabric!

Help readers…
Remember I pulled my Santa Fe String Star quilt to work on for a UFO?  Well…I pulled Star Struck too.

I’ve been cutting sashing pieces and have just not discovered that I don’t have enough of on of the sashing fabrics….  This one.

fabric-10

It’s a Civil War reproduction but I don’t know any more than that.  I only have about 5 inches left to cut from and all the information on the salvage is GONE!  UGH.  I thought I originally got it at Whittles Fabrics and have an email in to Cathy to see if they might have it….In the mean time I thought I would send out an SOS.

This is the quilt I am needing it for…B-Santa-Fe-Star-Struck

Of course I went and made the quilt bigger.  I had bought extra fabric but not enough.  UGH.

If anyone has some of knows any information about who designed it or the name of the fabric line, please share any info.  This quilt is the next one on my UFO list to tackle.  Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

  1. Sorry, Jo, don’t have any of that but I can tell you that I loved Star Struck and yours looks great. I hope someone can rescue you!

  2. Barbara Clarke

That is an old Jo Morton print. I have a piece about 30″ x32″ which you are welcome to if it will help.

  3. Hi Jo,
I am pretty sure that is a Jo Morton fabric from about 4 years ago. It might have been a part of her collection that she used on a BOM. Hope this helps a little with your search. Good luck.

P.S. Just love your blog and style. Thank you for sharing so much of your life with all of us. It is a breath of fresh air.

  4. I’m going into Stafford tomorrow. Quilter’s Emporium has lots of reproduction fabric. I see if they have this.

  5. Temecula Quilt in Temecula, CA may have it as they only have repro fabrics. Orange Quilt Bee in Orange, CA has some repro fabrics, too. Their tel. is 714/639-3245. Both of those shops are very helpful but may not have the fabric online. Also, Primitive Gatherings in CA and WI have lots of repros.

  6. I just read the headline and thought that is the story of my life-but my husband says I don’t need any more fabric! HA! Glad you have so many blog readers ready and willing to help you out.
