Help readers…
Remember I pulled my Santa Fe String Star quilt to work on for a UFO? Â Well…I pulled Star Struck too.
I’ve been cutting sashing pieces and have just not discovered that I don’t have enough of on of the sashing fabrics…. Â This one.
It’s a Civil War reproduction but I don’t know any more than that. Â I only have about 5 inches left to cut from and all the information on the salvage is GONE! Â UGH. Â I thought I originally got it at Whittles Fabrics and have an email in to Cathy to see if they might have it….In the mean time I thought I would send out an SOS.
This is the quilt I am needing it for…
Of course I went and made the quilt bigger. Â I had bought extra fabric but not enough. Â UGH.
If anyone has some of knows any information about who designed it or the name of the fabric line, please share any info. Â This quilt is the next one on my UFO list to tackle. Â Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Wish I had some of it. I would send it to you right away! Love the quilt!
Sorry, Jo, don’t have any of that but I can tell you that I loved Star Struck and yours looks great. I hope someone can rescue you!
That is an old Jo Morton print. I have a piece about 30″ x32″ which you are welcome to if it will help.
The fabric is Andover – Jo’s Prairie Rose – Jo Morton – A 7226 RO
There is some available on ebay

Wish I could help you out but I’ve never had any of that fabric.
I have 2 yards….is that enough? Email me your mailing address and it’s all yours.
Hi Jo,
I am pretty sure that is a Jo Morton fabric from about 4 years ago. It might have been a part of her collection that she used on a BOM. Hope this helps a little with your search. Good luck.
P.S. Just love your blog and style. Thank you for sharing so much of your life with all of us. It is a breath of fresh air.
I’m so sorry I don’t know. I wish I could help.
I’m going into Stafford tomorrow. Quilter’s Emporium has lots of reproduction fabric. I see if they have this.
Jo, I think I found this online: http://www.colonialcrafts.com/manufacturer/Jo_Morton_Prairie_Rose/3248#.WNRbqfnDGUk I thought I recognized it as a Jo Morton print. The line is called Prairie Rose. Good luck! I have a piece that is about 6” x 10” if that will help.
Sorry, here’s the pattern # in case Paula can find it locally: 7226-RO
Temecula Quilt in Temecula, CA may have it as they only have repro fabrics. Orange Quilt Bee in Orange, CA has some repro fabrics, too. Their tel. is 714/639-3245. Both of those shops are very helpful but may not have the fabric online. Also, Primitive Gatherings in CA and WI have lots of repros.
I just read the headline and thought that is the story of my life-but my husband says I don’t need any more fabric! HA! Glad you have so many blog readers ready and willing to help you out.
I still have 2 yds… are you still in need? Email me your mailing address.
I got some…THANKS!!
