Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July everyone!!

Spend 4th of July with us at Avista Resort - Avista Resort Blog
It’s a low-key day here at the Kramer house.  I love low-key days.  I am going with Craig and boys to fireworks tonight…at least that was the plan last I knew.  As with anything around here, it’s all subject to change.

Today is wide open for me.  What’s better than a day filled with few plans…nothing as far as I’m concerned.  I am practicing my independence and doing whatever I please today.  I think that might include a little extra cross stitch time…we’ll see.

I’m hoping to get a little quilting done too.  I worked on these yesterday…
Aren’t they so cute and festive.  I’ll tell you all about them tomorrow.  I’ve been really busy in the sewing room and have lots to share.

I have tomorrow off but I have plans that I’m excited about.  I’ll let you in on them tomorrow too.

For now, I’m off.  I’m taking the evening post off.  I figured it’s Independence day so why not?!

I hope you’re having a relaxing day filled with the things you love and the people you love.

Thank you for posting the American Quilter’s SAL blocks. It gives me motivation to start my blocks! I have the fabric all starched and ready to cut, patterns printed out, and I need to get going on it!

  2. Pretty blocks. I always like patriotic quilts or other things. Looking forward to seeing whatever you have been working on. Happy 4th whatever you do!

Happy 4th to you Jo and your family! Love your latest blocks. Looking forward to the other items you’ve been working on in the sewing room. Yes, celebrate your independence today and every day!

Have fun. I hope l can work on my Fly the
Flag quilt. I have it finished just not quilted.

  5. Love those “flags” –I am always so drawn to Patriotic colors!! Another reason to love your quilt -made with the shirts. As usual, I can’t think of the name of the quilt. Anyway– ENJOY your Fourth of July!! A free day for you–and hope the Fireworks outing works out!!
