A post from Kelli–
A while back, I told you about how I was going to attempt gardening. I was pretty apprehensive at first as I haven’t had much luck with flowers and hated weeding, so I was definitely looking for something that wouldn’t take too much work!
Well, I haven’t killed them yet!
In this pot, I planted red geraniums, some allysum, and purple waving petunias. I was a bit worried about how the flowers would turn out after the neighbor dog came over and dug a few of them up, but it appears as though they have recovered quite nicely.
I am truly quite proud of myself! I’m even thinking that next year I might expand my garden…by a pot or so! I don’t think that I’m quite ready for a full garden or too many vegetables quite yet, but maybe just another pot would be good!
Sometimes when I try something new I am pleasantly surprised that I actually like it!
First – your plants look very pretty.
Second – I love your updates on your house renovations – I look forward to your posts and hope you mention something new that you’ve done/achieved. I love anything to do with D.I.Y.
Love your plants…they are beautiful.
The plants look great. Gardening is like quilting. We learn one technique at a time!
Congratulations on your success.
