Goodies in the Mail

Remember on Wednesday morning I told you about the awesome bracelet that came in the mail for me from Linda. You might remember that there were two other boxes in the mail too.

I opened them up and was showered with scrap fabrics. There was a treasure trove of goodness.

Scraps

Most all of the pieces are anywhere from 1 1/2″ to 3″ in width. The boxes came from Pauline and they were packed full.

I am so excited. I sorted through them enough to get a couple hand fulls that are going immediately into the string blocks that I am working on. I was running out of a few bright colors and was going to have to start digging for more but right in my mailbox more scraps came….PERFECT!!

There were even some neutrals….It seems I am always short of neutrals. The rest of the box is going on the kitchen island. Completely sorting through the box is a perfect nap time project for me. It’s something I can do while the house needs to stay quiet and the kids can nap.

Pauline also sent all sorts of odds and ends stickers for the kiddos. They love stickers. They are so crafty and all the time are creating things with paper and other art type odds and ends. The stickers will be a perfect addition to the mix.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU Pauline. Please note that I tried to send a note to you via your email but it was sent back to me. In answer to you question do I want more fabric…the answer is always YES. If I can’t use them, I always find a home for them…fabric always makes me happy.

  1. Quite the interesting selection of fabrics. It’s always interesting to see what other people buy. Probably why I like going to garage and estate sales.
