Here’s a QUICK gift idea. Â The pictures don’t do it justice.
It’s a little pincushion that is made on a golf tee. Â The golf tee can be inserted into the middle of a spool of thread. Â It’s just a tiny pincushion but, oh, I love it!
I used my Rose of Sharon Die and the circle die.
I used wool. Â I cut a large flower from purple, two leaves for green and one small yellow circle from the circle die.
Poke a golf tee through the center of the flower.
Use a hot glue gun and glue in place. Â Poke the golf tee through the corner of the leaves and hot glue in place.
Gather up the yellow wool circle.
Now stitch the yellow circle to the center of the flower leaving an opening of about an inch. Â Leave the needle threaded, put in the stuffing. Â Stitch the rest of the way around.
As quick as that, you have a pincushion.
If you would like to see a video that shows the complete details on how to make this check out this link. Â Check back for another quick and easy project tomorrow.
