Getting Read for Finish Work

Even though you haven’t seen much sewing going on in our blog posts, trust me, Kelli and I both have been sewing like crazy!!

Binding
Today I have spent most of the day working on putting together backings and bindings…this is my pile of bindings.  There is a quilt top finished for each and every pack of binding…but sadly none of them are quilted.  We’ve got projects with some awesome awesome fabrics coming your way and we can’t wait to show them all to you.

Way to the left is a wonderful quilt that is made a new fabric line from Jo Morton and Andover Fabrics.  We got the fabric for that quilt top on Monday, I pieced the backing and have the binding ready while Kelli is frantically sewing the quitl top.  This finished quilt needs to be in Colorado by March 1st.

The other quilts have deadlines too.  Thankfully they all aren’t quite so quick!!

Next up is Honeysweet by Fig Tree and Moda.  The light green and the red way to the right are both from Chantilly by Lauren and Jessi Jung and Moda.  The blackish fabric is SoHo Chic by Sandy Gervais and Moda.  The stripped fabric is for a quilt Kelli just finished up using Barcelona by Zen Chic and Moda.

I am off to load some projects on the quilting frame…can you believe that what I am loading won’t use any of the bindings shown…yep another deadline project!!
