As some of you know over the last weekend in July Kelli and I are hosting a retreat. Â Bonnie Hunter will be teaching two classes to the participates and I’ll be teaching two. Â Kelli has been working really hard on getting it all organized and it’s a real messy job. Â I so appreciate all the work and accommodations that Kelli is trying to make to keep everyone happy. Â The retreat is FULL TO THE BRIM. Â Please don’t send an email asking to get in as there truly is no room..and there is a waiting list.
We do want you to know that we are hosting a trunk show on Thursday, July 30th featuring Kelli and I and Bonnie Hunter. Â Kelli and I will be chatting with you from 7-8 and Bonnie will take the stage from 8-9. Â The event will be held at the Williams Center in Oelwein, Iowa. Â Anyone is welcome to attend the trunk show.
We have tickets available to purchase in advance. Â They can be purchased at the following locations and should be available within a week or so:
Forest Mills Quilt Shop in Postville
Lou Ann’s Quilt Garden and Retreat in Oelwein
Material Magic in New Hampton
Moonlight Stitching Studio & Sisters Retreat in West Union
Tickets bought from any of these locations if bought in advance will be $8 each. Â At the door tickets will be $10.
We know some of you might not be able to get to these locations so we are also offering sales of advanced tickets on line as well too.  They will be $8 each with a 50 cents charge for the postage to get them to you.  You can get them by following this link. Once you have placed your order you can find your “cart” on the left had column to check out.
The show starts at 7pm but Bonnie and Kelli and I will be there early if anyone would like to purchase a autographed book or calendar. Â We hope to see lots of people there.

Sounds like fun, unfortunately I’m too busy in the summer for anything like this. Hope everything goes smoothly and have a great time.

What a treat to get to teach with Bonnie Hunter! That’s wonderful. Also, I wanted to ask you the name (brand) of the stain that you have liked for furniture. Not paint, not chalk, but the brownish stain for some pieces of furniture. Would appreciate it so very much.
