Here’s a new one pot family favorite…German Pizza.
It’s made in a frying pan on the stove and takes about 30 minutes. Â The base of the “pizza” is potatoes. Â Here’s the recipe.
6 medium potatoes (original recipe says shredded-I just slice thin)
1 pound hamburger browned
4-6 eggs (I use 6-I always have plenty because of the chickens)
Put the potatoes in a large skillet that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Â Sprinkle with Lawry’s seasoning. Â Cover and steam the potatoes. Â DON”T stir. Â It will take about 20 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Â Put the browned hamburger on top. Â Pour the beaten eggs over the meat. Â Let the eggs set. Â Add pizza toppings whatever you like…mushrooms, cheese, green pepper, etc.
It’s SO good and quick and best yet, I always have the ingredients on hand.
Sounds really good and appropriate for any time of day. Don’t you love this time–early in the morning when the rest of the folks are still sleeping?
Sounds yummy! When’s lunch? LOL
Sounds delicious and a great way to use up those little bits of things that are left in the fridge.
Oh man, that looks SO GOOD! I showed it to my husband and he didn’t get it. I’m going to have to just make it. Goodness, I have to stop reading food posts late at night! :-)

Oh, one other question — how do you steam the potatoes — do you put water in the pan? How much? Or something else? Thanks!!
