Fruity Brownie Pizza

You are in for a real treat if you make this recipe.  This brownie fruit pizza is a real family favorite.  On of the things I really like about it is that it looks a little fancy but really isn’t hard at all.

Under all the yummy fruit and cream cheese is brownies.  Here’s the recipe.

One 9 x 13 pan of brownies baked and cooled.
1~ 8 oz cream cheese softened
1/3 cup sugar
fruit of you choice-I have strawberries, blueberries, kiwi and pineapple
1/4 cup chopped peacans
1 square semisweet chocolate
1 tablespoon BUTTER-no margarine

After your brownies have cooled, mix cream cheese and sugar.  Spread on brownies.  Put the cut up fruit and nuts over the cream cheese.  Melt the chocolate and butter in microwave.  Drizzle over bars.  Keep refrigerated.

These are a favorite where ever I take them.  I have a homemade recipe for the brownies but you can use any box mix as well.  Here’s my recipe for the brownies…

2 sticks of softened margarine or butter
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cocoa
2 eggs
2 t vanilla

Mix together and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

If you plan to take them to a get together or event, have a piece before you go because there won’t be any left when you come home!!

  1. Looks delicious!! I need to bring a dessert next week- this will be it!
I have a question though- when you say 1 square of chocolate, are you talking about the entire bar?

  2. Perfect solution for me – Wed is the quilt guild Christmas dinner and everyone brings something. I know what I’m taking now!! Thanks for the great idea.

The brownie fruit pizza is exactly like the fruit pizza I make only I use a sugar cookie base covered with cream cheese. I also pile on the fruit. Oh, so yummy

  4. Oh yummy. This is going in my recipe binder. (with all these computer print-outs who can use a box, gotta have a binder)

  5. Hi Jo, I made the basic brownie recipe tonight, and the batter is very dry and unspreadable. Is there a liquid or oil missing from the list?
