Have you seen the latest issue of Quilty magazine??
If you did, did you see this??
That’s our quilt!! Â It’s “Sneaker Treads”. Â This was one of the quilts we were frantically trying to sew last August.
This is made from the Moda  fabric line Scrumptious that is available and out in stores now.
I am always at loss of how to quilt quilt tops. Â I ended up doing this…the squares have a motif in them. Â The zig zags and just a back and forth.
It’s just lap size and was fun to make. Â This could easily be made larger and would make a great single bed quilt.
We used a stripe for the binding.
You might remember a while ago we made this quilt. Â All of the left over bonus triangles from the above were used to make this.
Although there isn’t yellow in the fabric line, we used a yellow sashing to set the blocks. Â We’ll write the pattern for this and share it with you next week….
Today, we are hooking up with……Confessions of a Fabric Addict, Link a Finish Friday, Freedom Fridays, and Crazy Mom Quilts.
Jo–What a happy, colorful, beautiful quilt. Your talent will be enjoyed by many of us quilters.
Oh I love the quilt!!! do you remember what color of thread you used? I am always curious if you changed thread or used the same color throughout. thanks for sharing! just love it…..

I was wondering if you would add my blog to your blogroll? It would be great if you do! I have been blogging almost a year and have dreams of writing a quilting book and designing a fabric line…or 2 or 3!
It is called ” Quilt, sew Happy!” and as it happens, I have just started my first QAL!!!

If not, that is okay too!
Thanks!
