Friday Finish: Charity Quilts

I got the binding put on the two charity quilts that I had quilted.

Aren’t the colors bright and fun with this one??

I just know that both of these will be loved and appreciated.

Cindy did some nice work to bring these tops together.  I am so honored she entrusted me to quilt them and donate them.  THANKS Cindy!!  I’ll get to your other tops soon I hope!!

I had some green fabric that I had  picked up when thrifting that I ended up using for the binding.  Can you believe it worked for both of the quilts?

Oh and remember my triangle quilt that I gave you a sneak peak of…well the 1600 ~ 1″ finished half square triangles weren’t enough.

I ended up adding two rows to the original design so I ended up needing more.  The top is finished and a backing is prepped.  This one is going on the quilting machine soon.  I can’t wait to see it finished!!

We’ll be hooking up with all these fun places ..…Confessions of a Fabric Addict, Link a Finish Friday, Freedom Fridays, and Crazy Mom Quilts.

  1. Great idea on the railroad with triangles, I might want to adapt that for my bonus triangles once I get back to my blue and yellow project.

  2. love the dragon’s tooth quilt! i’ve got some left-over blue, white, and tan strips and HST’s that could be on their way into a quilt like yours! can’t wait to see this on your long arm machine. thanks for the inspiration.
