I am late posting this morning. Â I’ve had a long couple of days working on things for the house. Â I’ll fill you in on all of that later. Â For now, I want to share the latest charity quilt I finished up last week. Â Being the grass was wet I tried to find a place inside to take the photos….the garage was the cleanest place (I cleaned it yesterday) so I gave it a try.
This one was set to me by Eileen Foley from Minnesota.
It is so cute with cute prints. Â She works at a local quilt shop and got the 5″ pieces that she made the quilt with from left overs from cutting kits. Â I imagine it’s a perk of working at a quilt shop.
I did a Baptist Fan motif for the quilting. Â I love the look. Â It’s always a favorite of mine.
The binding, just a solid blue, was something I had here.
In the process of my taking pictures Ruby came out to see what I was doing. Â She was completely bothered that she wasn’t “posing” so I told her to sit and she got her photo taken too….after all, what’s a quilt picture without Ruby in it!?!?!
Thanks Eileen for sharing you quilt top. Â I appreciate your trusting me with it!
We’ll be hooking up with all these fun places ..…Confessions of a Fabric Addict, Link a Finish Friday, Freedom Fridays, and Crazy Mom Quilts.
The on-point set makes such a difference! A nice quilt.
We love seeing Ruby! Isn’t she adorable-looking right at the camera. Quilt looks great, too! I don’t know where you find the time, Jo. You’re an inspiration.
I agree w/ Patti! Jo you are a true inspiration with a beautiful caring heart!! That Ruby ~ just love seeing her, also especially sitting in front of such a pretty quilt!!
I love Ruby and you are right, your quilts are just not the same with out her.
Jo, I knew you would do a wonderful job on this little quilt. I love Baptist fans, too!
