Free Project from Patchalot Patterns

While stumbling around blog land I found a free pattern from Patchalot Patterns….and I made this quick mini project.
FaithHopeLoveJoy
The project was just what I needed, an evening to sew and to feel like I accomplished something.  She has several other free patterns and patterns for sale that are available that are really cute as well.

The mini quilt finishes at 9.5 x 9.5….perfect to put a candle on.  I think it would make an awesome shower present along with a candle.  I make so many quilt for wedding presents….I could use the scraps to make this as a matching shower present.

I hope to get a bit of time to complete a few more of her creations…maybe over Christmas break.

  1. I really like this, and love the wording on the side, is that embroidered? I am so in love with patchwork, and am a newbie quilter. Thanks for the inspiration.

    1. Hey Heather, it is embroidered along the side. I think it would make an awesome shower gift if you give a candle with it. Quick and fun to make…and can be made with scraps….my favorite.

I love the bold country colors, and esp. the words of hope, faith, joy and love along the edges. This would make a perfect prayer cloth gift to someone having difficulty. I would love it as a wall hanging.

  3. I love this – it’s so pretty! But I couldn’t find it when I clicked on the link. Can you tell me if it has a name, or how to locate it from the link. Thank you.
