Fat Quarter Shop has a fun series that they call Classic & Vintage. Â Kelli and I love it as classic and vintage quilt blocks are featured and they are our favorite. Â We love to check out and see what block they are featuring….this time around, it’s Log Cabin blocks. Â Of course we’re in love!
Kimberly put together a great demo video showing how she makes the block with a Creative Grids ruler. Â It looks really easy to do although we’ve never tried it using the ruler.
You can find a free link to the pattern HERE…you can purchase the pattern for the completed quilt that she shows in the video HERE.
I have always loved log cabins and some of my favorite quilts that featured them were designed by Country Threads…I think it’s time for me to pull some books and start dreaming about log cabin quilts…It’s been awhile since I’ve made a block or two…
I just love your Midnight Hour quilt in the October 2015 issue of AP&Q. Do you by any chance have the measurements for a king size quilt? Thanks, Daune
