On Saturday Kelli and I headed down to Waterloo. Â We had a lot of errands to run and one of them was to go to Dapper Designs.
It’s our closest place around to get Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint plus we just love the store.
Last month the store sponsored a giveaway of Chalk Paint for those who entered their before and after  pictures of their projects.  Well I submitted my Baker’s Cabinet turned island with this as the before picture…..
and this as the after picture…
If you missed the blog post about the transformation you can see it here.
Anyway, the prize for the winner was a gift package of Annie Sloan goodies. Â Well with Kelli’s encouragement I entered….and WON!!
We were on a mission to pick up the prize….a can of wax, a wax brush and a can of paint a total of over $100 worth of goodies….now which color of paint do we pick??
We ended up with Coco….I’m not sure what we’re using it on but liked it. Â Someday we are going to get brave and pick a funky color. Â Kelli really wants to try out the green.
While we were there we checked out the shop. Â Isn’t this table cool?? Â It is made from a bowling alley lane for the top. Â The chairs are duck egg blue.
The piece I was in love with was this….
LOOK AT ALL THOSE DRAWERS!! Â Oh I want this. Â There are 40 drawers in it!! Â The price is reasonable… $585 I think. Â If this magically showed up at my house so I could use it in the sewing room at the new house I would be elated. Â I love it. Â Had we not been putting so much money into the house right now I think I would have bought it.
We picked up the prize and a couple other goodies and then were on our way to the next stop. Â THANKS so much Dapper Designs…we’ll be back!
Congrats on the win! What an awesome prize. Love love love that cabinet! I think it should have gone home with you too.
Wow! Congrats on your prize loot! Love the cabinet. Sure wish I were closer, that cabinet would have a new home… mine! Can’t wait to see what you do with your new paint color.
Oh well done – your Baker’s Cabinet looks wonderful! I’ve been contemplating using some Annie Sloan Chalk Pain on a project. You’ve sold me! That cabinet looks perfect for you!!
