I have more than usual cross stitch to share with you today. The mini retreat with Kelli, Kayla, and Nell gave me just the boost I needed.
The last time I showed you my Consider the Lilies, I was working on this flower…
I finished it…and also worked on the flower in the border above it.
Then I went down and worked on the letters. I didn’t quite finish them.
Here is where I am at now. Sorry I didn’t iron it. I have a LONG way to go but I’m very happy with the progress I’m made over the summer.
Nell was working on her big His Eye is on the Sparrow. She is trying to do one motif each week. That sounded like a good goal for me. I’m going to see if I can do that.
I also worked on this…It is American Trio. I started it on the rainy garage sale day. I already have the other two of the set finished. I stopped here as I have to get a different white for the house. What I had wasn’t showing up the best.
You might remember that Nell and I started a project together. It was this one…Stay True from With Thy Needle and Thread.
I had no business starting this…I have too many UFOs already. I don’t care, though. It was fun to start something with Nell. The hope is that the next time I see her, we’ll both have ours finished. Sometimes I wondered if I was in a stitching rut, as I wasn’t very far along with anything, so there was nothing new or exciting. We’ll see if that is true. HA!!
I have a busy week next week. Rick and I have doctor’s appointment follow-ups, and we have something else planned. So far, I’m keeping that a secret for now. I’m not sure how stitching will fit into it all. For now, I’m excited with my progress.

You’ve inspired me – I now own Consider the Lilies and All Things Wise and Wonderful is on it’s way! I am going to put them in my Sunday Stitch pile. That makes four – I think that will keep me busy on Sundays for a long long time!
