I am a big Country Threads fan…I love the colors, I love the designs. When I saw that they had a Civil War Reproduction Club, I joined.
Every other month, Country Threads sends an exclusive pattern along with eight fat eighths of civil war reproduction fabrics…all this for $15.95.  The pattern isn’t shown in color which makes the experience a bit more individual.Â
I worked on my little quilt over the weekend…..here’s how it looks so far. I need to make 28 shoo-fly blocks that go around the edges.  Once they are added,  this little beauty will finish out at 36″ x 36″. I already have a place in mind for this little guy….Â

P.S. Being I don’t live far from Country Threads in Garner, Iowa, I am able to visit a couple times each year. It is such an experience. If you love to see samples, this is the place to go. There are samples EVERYWHERE!! If you haven’t been, it’s definitely a place to put on your bucket list.
Hi Jo: I love the little quilt! The colors are very warm and cozy. It will be great when it is finished.
By the way, I got my Applique Stabilizer the other day and am anxious to try my hand at the applique I need to do on a small quilt. I printed out your directions yesterday and hope to be able to do this over the weekend. I will let you know how I make out.
