Community Quilts from Ronda

Ronda sent me a couple finished quilts again.  I so admire her work and determination to get so much done for charity.

Ronda writes:
I have finished another couple of tops for donation.  The first one is a top made by Diane O. from Michigan.  She pieced the beautiful center and I added the hot pink inner border and the pink floral outer border to make it finish at 59 X 83.” The fabric for the inner border and the binding came from Sandra in Texas.  The outer border and the backing fabric was also sent by Diane“.

This will go to the Council on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence“.

The second top came from“…Debbie S. in Holland, NY.  She has sent me several tops using these panel pieces with cute animals and inspirational sayings on them.  Each top is just a little bit different in the way she designs them and all are very cute”.

Debbie also included the gold fabric for the binding.  The backing came from Karen S. in Chino, California.

This is a nice baby size at about 44″ square, so will go to the Ronald McDonald House“.

It seems no matter what it is, Ronda knows just what to do with it…the right pantograph design on the quilting, the right time to add a border to bring it to size, the right thread color.  She is definitely a gem….Thanks to all who donated to help these quilts happen.

P.S. Don’t you love that scouting badge fabric on the back of the baby quilt…WOW.  PERFECT for that quilt.
