Community Quilts from Ronda

Oh HAPPY DAY!!  I have quilts from Ronda to share with you today.

Ronda writes:
The first top was sent to me from LaNan E. of Primghar, Iowa. With the sports balls print fabric, it will be perfect for a boy’s quilt. The orange plaid backing fabric came from my friend, Evie H. of Los Angeles, California. This quilt finished up at 48 X 68 and was donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

Up next…

Linda in Tucson, Arizona sent this colorful split 9-patch, along with the fabric I used for the binding. The backing fabric came from Diane S. of Rosemount, Minnesota. This quilt is 57 X 67 and went to Opportunities Unlimited.

Linda also sent all the 36-patch blocks sewn together checkerboard style, which I put together to make this into a top. The backing fabric came from Karen S. of Chino, California, and the binding from Sandra in Texas. This quilt is 48 X 60 and was donated to Opportunities Unlimited.”

Ronald McDonald House and Opportunities Unlimited are so lucky to have Ronda in their corner completing and donating so many quilts.

WOW…what a lot of people came together to get these beautiful tops  made into quilts.  I’m so impressed!!  Many-many thanks to all who donated to make these quilts happen!!
