Ronda has been a busy girl cranking out lots of quilts. She sent several emails each with a quilt. Today I am sharing the first three that she sent.
Ronda writes:
“This top was sent to me from you, Jo.Â
It had one block turned the wrong way.Â
A little un-sewing was done and the block turned the right way.Â
The backing is some you sent to me, too.Â
This quilt finished at 73″ square and went to Opportunities Unlimited.
This top was sent to me from… Linda in Tucson, Arizona.
The backing came from Karen S. of Chino, California.
The quilt finished up at 49″ square and went to Ronald McDonald House.
Linda in Tucson, Arizona sent a group of blocks she had made along with some extra fabric to add to the quilt.
She had sewn most of the blocks together into rows, so I just had to make a few more blocks and complete the top.
The backing and binding came from my stash.
This quilt ended up at 47 X 61 and went to Ronald McDonald House.”
What a great group of quilts. Ronda is really a talent and has worked with the community quilt project for a long time. I so appreciate how much you all have supported her work. The Ronald McDonald house along with other great organizations are well supported through Ronda’s work.
Beautiful quilts! Thank you for sharing. I love seeing variations on familiar patterns and then the new patterns. You all are so creative!
All of the quilts are lovely to see and thank you to those that contributed.
Lovely work. Good catch on the wrongway block. Some will snuggled enjoy sleeping under these quilts.
Such beautiful quilts now finished and going out to great charities! We’ll done Ronda and all of the top makers!
Beautiful work everyone! Someone will be so happy to receive one of these!
Love and prayers
