Community Quilts from Ronda

I have a treat for you today.  Ronda sent four community quilts!!  Get ready for some eye candy!!

Ronda writes:
“I have four more quilts to share with you on this beautiful day.  The first one, from Kathi M. of Austin, Texas, is a rainbow of colored squares.

The blue backing was sent to me from Karen S. of Chino, California, and I used a striped binding from my stash.  The quilt is 73″ square.  This was donated to Opportunities Unlimited.

The second quilt, using solid strings, is…

from Melissa G. of Ponte Vedra, Florida.

I added the inner border and binding from my stash and the backing and outer border came from Linda M. in Tucson, Arizona.

This quilt finished up at 46 X 56.  This one was also donated to Opportunities Unlimited.

The third quilt was sent to me from Linda M. in Tucson, Arizona, and is scrappy plus blocks.

I used a bright green backing that you sent to me, Jo, and added striped binding from my stash.

This quilt is 43 X 49 and went to Ronald McDonald House.

The fourth quilt was a UFO that I got from Linda M. in Tucson, Arizona.  She used the pattern “Layer Cake Lattice” from the Fat Quarter Shop.

She made all of the blocks and assembled more than half of them into rows.  I finished it up and quilted it.  I’m not sure who sent the cat fabric that I used for the back, but the binding came from Judy M. of Lynchburg Virginia.

This quilt is 48 X 67 and was donated to Opportunities Unlimited.

WOW…what a great bunch of quilts.  I just love getting emails in and seeing them.  I know you all love seeing them too.  Thanks a bunch to Ronda.  Not only do she and the other longarmers do the work to finish the quilts but they also do the work to send pictures my way.  I so appreciate it.
