Community Quilts from Ronda

Good news!! I have quilts from Ronda to share with you today.  I have quilts from Paulette too so read all the way to the end to see them all.

First up, quilts from Ronda…Ronda sent three quilts for this post and there will be another post from Ronda on Sunday.  She’s been a busy gal!!

Ronda writes:

The first top was sent to me from Cindy E. of Mansfield, Ohio.

I paired the rainbow-like top with the yellow with black flowers backing that you passed on to me from Carla.

This quilt finished up at 55 X 69 and was donated to Opportunities Unlimited.

Next up…

this top made of what looks to me like “L” shaped blocks, came from Linda in Tucson, Arizona.
She made all the blocks and had sewn them together into three two-row sections.

I just had to sew those three sections together and quilt and bind. The quilt finished at 49″ square and was donated to Ronald McDonald House.

The next top, yellow with blue 4-patches, was sent to me from Susan Lee, of Manchester, Iowa.

The cute backing with booties and bibs came from Ila M. of Des Plaines, Illinois.

The blue binding came from Judy M. of Lynchburg, Virginia.

This quilt is 51 X 58 and also went to Ronald McDonald House.

Oh…all of these were so nice.  I just love seeing quilts that Ronda sends in.  She does such great work and often, donations are directly sent to Ronda so I don’t see them first.

Thanks to all who donated.  I so appreciate your support of the community quilt project.

Before you go, I want to invite you to go and check out a quilt that Paulette finished and wrote about on her blog.  The quilt is super sweet and is one of the nicest embroidery block quilts that I’ve seen.  Paulette has a great blog and rather than me rewriting what Paulette wrote about the quilt, I thought it made more sense to send you to her blog.  You can find it HERE.  Thanks to Paulette and crew for some great quilts!!

Before I go…one last reminder.

Nido is giving one away to one of my lucky Instagram followers. The giveaway will be open until 5/14/2021 and we will share the winner on WINNER on 5/16/2021!  You can find me on Instagram at jo_joscountryjunction.  Don’t be sad if you don’t win, next week we’ll be offering you a coupon code to get your very own mat.  As they say, you can’t win if you don’t play so check out my Instagram!!
