Community Quilts From Ronda

Yahoo!!  I have community quilts to share with you.  These are from Ronda.

Ronda writes:
I have two more quilts to share with you.  The first quilt is the second Log Cabin sent to me from Diane S. of Rosemont, Minnesota.

She made two just alike and I had finished the first one some time ago.  It used the same fabrics as are in this one, but I put a gold back on the first one and this one got the red and green floral.

The backing for this one came from Denise B. of Tarpon Springs, Florida.

This quilt is 53″ square and will go to Opportunities Unlimited.

The second quilt was…
one I put together from blocks sent to me from Susan T. of Claremore, Oklahoma.

I was blown away by her exquisite applique!

She appliqued 21 of these frog blocks (so I have one left over that I will use as a medallion on a future quilt).

Each frog is unique.
She also made quite a few of the four patches it took for the border and then sent all the rest of the fabric to complete the quilt, including the backing.
She said she likes the Ronald McDonald House, so that is where this one will go.  It is 65″ X 75″ and sure to be a hit with some child
.

WOW…I love both of these.  I am sure they will be loved.  Thanks to all who made these happen!!

  1. Oh wow! Two more great quilts. I’ve never seen a quilt like the frog one before. So much talent from these three ladies. What a lot of joy you will bring to others.

  2. I have never really wanted to try applique, until this post. Those frogs are so awesome! If I could be that skilled, on a smaller scale of course, I’d be tempted to try. #goals lol
