Ronda has been a busy quilter. She finished two amazing quilts that will go on and be used in the community to help others.
Ronda writes:
“I have two more quilts to share with you today. Both of them were sent to me from Kathy M. of Westerly, Rhode Island. The first one is a beautiful quilt made from a kit from JoAnn Fabrics called Nature’s Garden.”
“Kathy pieced and appliqued the top and sent it on to me along with the backing and binding fabric. This quilt finished at 78″ square.”
“I will hang on to this for the next fundraiser ~ most likely the Humane Society Annual Quilt Auction” ~
“…if they are able to have it this year.”
“The second quilt was also pieced by Kathy…“and is a Double Irish Chain from the Big Book of Best Loved Quilts ~ all done in blue and white.”
“Kathy also sent along the backing and binding for this lovely top.”
“This quilt finished at 74″ X 94″ and will go to Opportunities Unlimited.”
“This will work on their full-sized beds nicely.”
WOW..what awesome quilts. Thanks for the hard work Kathy and Ronda. I say it all the time but it is so true. I just love seeing good in the world.

Beautiful quilts and very generous of Kathy and Rhonda. I too, love to see the good that is here, but so often not reported. Thank you all for your work and generosity!

Gorgeous quilts and wonderful finish
I love that Double Irish Chain. Does anyone have any thoughts on how difficult that pattern is?
Those are gorgeous quilts! Well done!
These are beautiful quilts! Great job ladies!!
Beautiful quilts. Thanks ladies. Thanks Jo for sharing.
Carla, there is a Quilt In a Day book by Eleanor Burns for Irish Chain quilts with very good directions. Check to see if it has directions for triple chain though. I’ve made several double and single chain quilts from the book for charity and gifts.
Thanks Marsha!
