Ray sent in a few things to share with you today.

“Barbara S. in FL sent me this beautiful quilt top to finish and donate. I love how she was able to see a quilt from a cut of fabric.
In this case the birdhouses and bees set the stage. She added complimenting borders to give it a super finish.
I believe she sent the bird fabric for backing which was most appropriate. Since it was a bit small, I found a cut from Darlyn V, in IL, was a good addition.
I decided that some yellow daisies would be a great addition as a quilting motif.
WOW!! looks great! My thanks to you, Barbara and Darlyn for an awesome community quilt.
Sharon J. in AR sent me… this beautiful quilt to finish and donate. I am pleased to announce that I was finally able to squeeze it into my schedule and get it longarmed this week. And now the binding is on it as well and can be considered complete.
I, unfortunately, do not know the name of the pattern but it is very nice, Sharon did a wonderful job piecing it.
I love all the earth-tone fabrics in it. I found the backing in the stash that is well supported by your blog readers.
I tried a new motif on the quilt called Flipped Feathers. I really like the graceful flow of the feathers. I used a bone-colored thread to stay with the neutrals in the quilt.
Thank you, Jo, Sharon, and all the blog readers for your generosity to get another community quilt ready to serve.
Julierose H. in CT sent me a box of miscellaneous UFO blocks. OMG!! What an assortment!
This is sure going to be fun figuring out what to do and how to combine. She did include a few Many Trips blocks that need some final assembly work to make a top. Stay tuned as you never know what I will create out of this and when.
Thank you Julierose for a box full of inspiration.
Beautiful quilts, so much talent.
Love looking at all the quilts people and you Jo, have made and finished. This is the inspiration I need to get back to my sewing projects again especially after spending 1/2 year in a Care Center. I’m also starting to work on embroidery projects and counted cross stitching. Thanks for getting me back to enjoying the things I love to do.
It’s balm to the soul to be doing things we love. I hope you can always enjoy your hobbies.
Beautiful finishes on great looking quilts. Thanks to all for donating your time, fabrics and creativity for these quilts.
I do like the Flipped Feather motif. I know you’ll be able to figure out some stunning quilts from Julierose’s
box of inspiration! Have fun.
Beautiful quilts, thank you to the makers for donating them. Thank you to Ray for giving them a brilliant finish. They were lovely finishes.
I so enjoy hearing Roy talk about the quilts.
