Community Quilts from Ray

Ray is squeezing in as many quilts as he can…Ray writes:

I have another beautiful quilt from Marci V. in ID to share with you.

Marci makes lots ao wonderful scrap quilts and shares them to finish and to donate.

I love them all.

My thanks to you and Marci for your generous support of community quilting.

Last fall Anne F. in GA sent me a BIG box of patriotic tops, UFOs and fabric.

This spring Karen H. in NE checked in on me and asked if I needed anything. She is great at providing support.

I said I had a big stack of quilt blocks and would she consider piecing some quilts out of them.

She said she would give it a try and see what she could put together. This is one of three tops that she assembled. Beautiful!! My thanks to you, Anne and Karen for your support of the quilts for veterans.

Marci’s quilt was a true scrap buster. I had to do a double-take on the backing…it’s a cheater cloth. What a great way to use it as a backing…and the Anne/Karen patriotic quilt…wonderful. I love that stripped backing!! Great work, everyone… and Ray, as always, amazing.
