Ray is slowing down a bit and has started on his pile of community quilt tops.

Summer has set in here in SW FL, and I work on quilts all day long. When you step back and look at the situation, something just does not seem right. LOL!! I am enjoying what I do and I really don’t care if it does not make any sense or not. Enough of that before I get way too far off the subject at hand.
I longarmed a top from Sue S. in MO.

I am still trying to master HSTs, let alone making them into hourglass blocks. All those beautiful hourglass blocks alternate with white blocks to make them really shine.

Beautiful quilt.

My thanks to you and Sue for your great support.
I pulled this beauty out of the stack to longarm. It is from Arline H. formerly of FL.

This is one of the most interesting and difficult sampler quilts I have come across. Some blocks are machine pieced and others are hand sewn.

There are normal size pieces and very small pieces. WOW!!

My thanks to you and Arline for your tremendous support.
Ray…you really made these quilts shine. Many thanks to Arline and Sue for sharing their time and talents in making these quilt tops and, of course, to Ray for bringing them all to life.

Two very pretty quilts. I really like the hour glass one – all the colors. The sampler is beautiful too. Thank you Ray for your finishing work and thank you Arline and Sue for you wonderful donations.
Ray, you do sych great work for the community and those who need. I hope you have a fun summer with all of the tops and have some time to rest and have fun too – or should I say more fun!
Thank you Ray and Jo and everyone who contributes. They are beautiful!
