Community Quilts from Ray

I’m trying to get caught up with all the community quilts. My inbox has recently been flooded by Ray and others. It’s a wonderful “problem” to have. If you have sent a community quilt email recently, know that I am getting to them. Today’s quilts are from Ray.Here is another very special quilt from Nancy F. in FL. She made this one from half square triangles but this time she made them bigger and turned them so that they make a different diamond pattern. HSTs are very versatile. My thanks to you and Nancy for your generous support.

Linda L. in TN made this top and sent it to me.

It is made from alternating 9 patches and solid blocks and then set on pointe.

What a difference it makes when they are set on pointe. Not only to the eye but also in the difficulty of keeping the bias under control for the person piecing as well as the longarmer.

Linda did a great job with the piecing.
