Can you believe it has already been three months since the veterans dinner in November?? Where oh where has the time gone? Well that means it is a short nine months till the next appreciation dinner. That means I need to start longarming some patriotic quilts.
To get the ball rolling I finished this special quilt from Tish M. in OH.
Love this alternating nine patch. The dark blue polka dot blocks really make the nine patches pop.
I used a star meander motif to longarm it.
And we are off to a great start for November 2026. My thanks to you and Tish for your generous support.
Every time I think I am making progress in getting organized, I find a stack of quilt tops that got pushed aside somehow. Such is the case with some tops from Nancy F. in FL.
I love this rail fence quilt with all the bright colored fabrics. It must be from a roll or two of coordinated fabrics.
It really makes you feel all warm and cozy.

Both of the quilts are simple designs, but good color selections, talented piecers, and Ray’s special quilting powers truly make them all shine. Thanks for all of the hard work that went into these.
I love these quilts because of the simplicity of the patterns and the colors that were used. Great jobs by piecers and Ray to get them across the finish line. They will be treasured.
For some reason, not getting the pictures in your post, have been missing for about a week.
I think that’s something on your end because I haven’t had anyone else mention that. Sometimes you need to clear your cookies.
