Oh, my word…doesn’t “Pat and the Piecemakers” sound like a great band name?? Well, they aren’t a band. Instead, they are a quilting group.
Pat writes:
“Thank you…. from the Piecemakers
The generous outpouring of fabric panels, material, finished quilts, and even cash donations is greatly appreciated! You have enabled us to continue supporting our Pre-K kids, Veterans, needy young families, and elder care residents.
We started immediately to organize all the materials, making up kits, and revisiting our goals for the next 2 years.
We are overwhelmed with gratitude and are looking forward to many future hours of working to complete our projects.
Thank you again!
Attached are a few pictures
this is what 250 placemats look like
The panel quilts are being made now to prepare for the next school year.
You will also see hospice quilts made with fabric that was sent”
Pat and the Piecemakers have been very busy. Thanks to the many of you who sent goodies to Pat’s group. If you have panels that are kid-friendly that you are not using and would like to share, please feel free to contact Pat at this email. plrbr1120@gmail.com
I love to see people working together for a good cause. Thanks for sharing this with us Pat.
Pat’s group name could be a music group I agree. Love what their doing. I’ve got to send her my panels. BTW happy new year to all!
That’s a lot of place mats! Thanks Pat and your Piecemaker friends
Jerry and the Pacemakers was an old band from the sixties.
What wonderful items your group has been making, please keep it up. I really enjoyed seeing all those wonderful placemats, quilts for kids and veterns.
Lovely panel quilts and place mats. So nice of people giving fabrics they no longer use. I send mine to the French General Navajo Project. It helps me in clearing out fabrics I won’t use and they will.
