I have several community quilts to share with you today. Laurie teamed up with the Cresco Lady Quilters to make some great quilts.
I apologize for the small photos I tried to enlarge them but had no luck. There are five quilts for me to share with you today.
This is a rainbow version.
There are splashes of the border print mixed in the middle. You can see that Laurie did a wavy machine quilting on this.
Next up is an “almost panel” style quilt. You can see the pictures in the center flanked by a burgundy color.
The backing is pink. Check out Laurie’s amazing machine quilting. Laurie likes to customize what she’s working on.
If you are new to longarming and want practice, taking on a few charity quilts is the perfect way to practice. Just let me know and I can set you up with some tops to practice on. I know many that hone their skills by finishing charity quilts.
The next one is…a four-patch quilt.
Laurie found a great backing for it!! There is a lot in this quilt for a young one to look at and enjoy.
The last quilt is a strippy quilt. I don’t know if it was a jelly roll race quilt or not. I looks like it might be but I can’t tell how big it is from the pictures.
Here is the backing for it…
What a great bunch of quilts. Laurie is not only talented but quick too!! Over the last month, she’s sent me LOTS of quilts. I have two more to share with you tonight.
Thanks so much, Laurie and a big shout out to the Cresco Ladies for providing the tops.
SEW sweet of Laurie to team up with the Cresco Ladies. Nice work, Team! Thanks for sharing all the quilty inspiration, Jo.
Beautiful quilts! Such beautiful quilting too! Thanks to all who had their hand in this process – others appreciate it.
